Architecture, nature, color, and unexpected chaos all have their place on the creative canvas of Doug Wolski’s work. With every insight and inspiration, his art is moved and moves the viewer, delivering emotion, passion and his own stories to the viewer without saying a word.

Doug is a self-taught artist with many contemporary influences. Born a single child in Atlanta, Georgia, Doug learned at an early age to embrace his own imagination thereby hosting an endless well of creativity.

The story of his art expression and history can be seen in his works. Doug began with acrylic and oil paint before branching out to other mediums and applications such as glass blowing, spray paint, woodworking and U.V. resin.

Doug consistently pulls inspiration from his life and artistic experiences to bring to his next canvas, creating a visual timeline of where he has been to where he is now. His work is consistent with beauty, mystery, balance and

all that is seen and felt within the works of Doug Wolski.

Describing his work as "abstract geometry" and influenced by Gerhard

Richter, Frank Lloyd Wright and The 7th Letter, Doug’s work hosts a vision

of the most unresolved with perfect control of geometry, mathematics and its beautiful world of balance. He has pulled experiences from an engineering background of over a decade to express himself through his unique and beautifully edgy linear woodwork wall sculptures, which have become his three dimensional approach of sleek and masterful design.

Now, Doug has branched out to the world of U.V. resin to incorporate his woodwork sculpture pieces into the high-gloss, large-scale works that are full of detail and abstract beauty. He entices the viewer to take a closer look, asking “How did this texture, color, pattern, feeling….happen?” The mystery of his work is beautiful and the beauty of his work is a mystery.

When asked “What is the best thing about being an artist?”, Doug said

“What’s the best thing about doing anything that you truly love…that you’re

doing something that you truly love!” This sets the tone for all of his

work. He is truly passionate. In addition to laughter, Doug said he is

mostly inspired by, “Watching an idea or dream come to fruition.

Transforming visual, vocal, and emotional influences that I got from you,

make art from it, and then inspiring you.”
